Our topics in 2023
But in 2023 a lot has happened - in general in the world, but also at TIS GmbH. There were, as always, both negative and positive moments. Considering the coming holiday, we want to focus in this newsletter on the good things that happened this year.

TIS in 2023
Many things happened in 2023 which concerns the development of the company. Again, we increased the number of employees. This year we reached 100 employees and again hired six trainees.
We will also be able to record sales of 15 million euros this year. This means we achieve the same sales as in the previous year, which ensures a stable basis.
In addition, we developed different modules of our TISLOG logistisc software even further. Also we developed new vehicle cradles and scan handles for the new mobile devices from Honeywell and Zebra.
Fabian Bielefeld hired as second managing director
Fabian Bielefeld has been the second managing director of TIS GmbH since July 1st, 2023. He manages the company together with Markus Vinke, who has been the managing director since 2016.
Fabian Bielefeld has been working at TIS GmbH for 13 years. He started as a project manager and later switched to sales. He is also a shareholder of the company and has been part of the management for several years.
In addition to his duties as managing director, Fabian Bielefeld is also responsible for the sales team.
This year's anniversaries
This year eight of our employees celebrate their anniversary at TIS. We are proud that many of our employees stay at TIS for several years.
25 years anniversary: Andre Tebrügge and Arnd Burchardt
20 years anniversary: Guido Elsinghorst
10 years anniversary: Marco Schreiber, Carsten Dünne, Anna Demming, Mathias Emmerich and Dennis Lorei

3.000€ to Kalangala e.V.
The TIS GmbH from Bocholt again donated to Kalangala e.V., an association which stands up for orphans from Uganda.
Half of the money was collected from the employees for a tombola at the last christmas party. The other half was donated from the family Bielefeld, owner of TIS GmbH.
Winner of German Telematics Award 2024
TIS GmbH wins at German Telematics Award 2024 the first place in the category transport management. The award ceremony took place during the DEKRA Future Congress on October 31.
TIS GmbH wins
We were nominated in two different categories: special vehicles and transport management. In the end, we made the first place in transport management.
Ökoprofit Certification
On October 27, 2023 TIS GmbH got the Ökoprofit Certification. Ökoprofit has the goal that companies act sustainable but that they are still competitive.
Ökoprofit at TIS GmbH
At TIS GmbH four employees took care of the project. First of all, they documented the current status and then looked for room of improvements. Some of the improvements are already implemented, others are planned for 2024. Because of the good achievements and the engagement of the team, TIS GmbH got the Ökoprofit certification on October 27, 2023.
TIS at different trade fairs
This year we were on three big logistics trade fairs with an own stand:
• LogiMAT in Stuttgart
• transport logistic in Munich
• ICT & Logistiek in Utrecht
All trade fairs were a big success to us. We are still happy about the visits of our customers as well as the many visits of new interested companies. We presented our services to the people and informed them especially about our TISLOG logistics software.
Infodesk 5
As our focus were more and more on Infodesk 5 in 2023, there are more modules that were transferred from Infodesk 3 to 5. This includes the following modules:
• Fleet
• Future Search
• Online
• Order Search
• Yard Management
Furthermore, Infodesk 3 modules which are not transferred to Infodesk 5 officially, were taken into the new framework temporarily. Because of that, the whole TISLOG portfolio can be used in Infodesk 5 and there is no switching between the two Infodesk versions necessary.
TISPLUS telematicbox Solar
We offer a new TISPLUS telematicbox Solar. With this, you will be able to track your trailers via GPS. The communication to your system will takes place through an integrated eSIM. The box has also a battery, in case of bad weather conditions.
Available in April 2024!

This was our review of 2023. A successful year to which we look back with pleasure. But now, we are already looking forward to the next year that will hold various interesting topics ready. We thank you for your trust and we are excited about the personal exchange with you in 2024.
