Temperature Monitoring in accordance with DIN EN 12830 using TISLOG
Bocholt, July 30, 2026
Our TISLOG logistics software, when used in conjunction with a telematicbox, provides reliable temperature monitoring in accordance with DIN EN 12830, as well as alarm functions.
Temperature Monitoring in Accordance with DIN EN 12830
The European standard DIN EN 12830 specifies the technical and functional characteristics of temperature monitoring devices used for the transport, storage, and distribution of temperature-sensitive goods. These include not only food but also pharmaceuticals, chemicals, biological products, plants, and works of art.
What Data Is Recorded?
By using TISLOG in conjunction with a telematicbox, both the opening of the tailgate and other door contacts can be monitored. In the TISLOG Infodesk, this data can be displayed as a history or timeline.
Additionally, a serial connection to the cooler is possible, allowing further data such as operating hours, operating status, and error codes of the cooler to be read.
Setting Alarms
Alarms can be set up in TISLOG Infodesk to provide immediate notification of temperature deviations. This ensures that office staff are immediately informed of any deviations and can intervene if necessary. Examples of configurable alarms include deviations from the setpoint temperature or a door opening outside the permitted unloading area (in conjunction with geofencing). Additional alarm options are available.
