TIS GmbH donates 3.000€ to Kalangala e.V.

The TIS GmbH from Bocholt again donated to Kalangala e.V., an association which stands up for orphans from Uganda. Half of the money was collected from the employees for a tombola at the christmas party. The other half was donated from the family Bielefeld, owner of TIS GmbH.
This year, Kalangala e.V. plans again a bigger project. After they have built new toilets and showers for the boys in the last two years, now the sanitary facilities of the girls are planned to be renovated. The special thing is the running water for the facilities which still is not common in Uganda. But it is very important for the health of the children, as the running water improves the body hygiene. This leads to less diarrhea and helminthiasis diseases.
Markus Vinke, managing director of the family company is happy that the donation supports such an important project: “We are prosperous that we again collected such a big amount for donation. It is great to support the important projects of Kalangala e.V. yearly.”
