Useful functions regarding the time of arrival

The drive to the customer will be finished and the stop processing will be started through the arrival time that is set in the TISLOG app. An essential data for the disposal. In the following we will present you the different ways of setting the arrival status.

Manual confirmation
The driver can confirm his arrival in the TISLOG app on his mobile device by clicking on the button “arrival”. The current time will then be noted as the arrival time. This can be also done by using the button “editing” instead of “arrival”. The current time will then be noted as the time of arrival, too.

Automated time of arrival through the recognition of standstill
As soon as the system notices a standstill of the vehicle via the transmission of GPS data, the time of the standstill will be saved. When the driver confirms the arrival by manually clicking on one of the two buttons (arrival or editing), the previous saved time will be set as the time of arrival and not the current time while pressing the button.

Recognition of arrival through geofences
For this way of the automated recognition of arrival it has to be defined a radius around the stop address as a geofence. Once the driver reaches this radius, the current time will be automatically set as the time of arrival. Not the time of the standstill or the time of pressing a certain button.
There is also another useful function regarding geofence. This one does not set an automated status as arrival time, but it recognizes the approach of the vehicle to the destination address. Because of this, transport companies are able to send their drivers important information about their upcoming stop. The drivers get these guidance on their mobile devices when driving into the defined geofence.
