TISLOG pre-trip inspection with QR code

The TISLOG pre-trip inspection is now available with QR code. What does this mean and which advantages come with the QR code?

The TISLOG pre-trip inspection is a fixed product of our TISLOG portfolio. In the last weeks, we developed it even further to simplify the working process. From now on, it is possible to provide vehicles with a QR code. It is then possible to scan the code which opens the TISLOG pre-trip inspection module and the certain checklist of the vehicle.

The advantages of using the QR code
The biggest advantage of the TISLOG pre-trip inspection with QR code is that it is no longer necessary to search for the vehicle in a dropdown list or to manually type in the vehicle number. This does not only save time but also decreases the error rate of a wrong choice or typing error.
Furthermore, other drivers of the company are able to note a deficiency (e.g. a flat tire) by easily scanning the code. The deficiency therefore can be repaired earlier.
When the pre-trip inspection is done, it is saved as a PDF file to ensure the documentation. In addition, the results are shown in TISLOG Infodesk. Because of this, the garages are able to administrate the repairs and to close them as soon as they are done.

Further development: pre-trip inspection “smart”
At the moment the pre-trip inspection is developed even further. In the next weeks, the TISLOG pre-trip inspection will be also available as a “smart” one. In this version, the QR code of the vehicle can be scanned even when our TISLOG mobile app is not installed on the mobile phone. The QR code can be scanned with the photo function and leads to a website which shows the checklist that belongs to the vehicle. This simplifies the working process even more.
