Automations in TISLOG

Truck drivers have to do a lot during their tours and at times it can be very hectic. Because of that we want to support the drivers with the operation of our TISLOG mobile Enterprise app due to different automations.

1. Automatic start of the tour
We have the opportunity to start the tour on the driver's device automatically. The driver therefore only has to load the cartage note. As soon as he leaves the geofence, a previous defined area around the depot/stop (circle or polygon), the tour will be started automatically. After this, the calculation of the ETA begins.

2. Automatic calculation of the arrival time
Furthermore, the arrival time of trucks can be calculated without the help of the driver. This can be done on two different ways:

• The software is able to recognize a standstill of the truck and the arrival time through a determined geofence at the stop address
• As soon as a final status is set for a sending and the truck comes to a standstill afterwards, the arrival time is recognized. This is done through the existing data in the system so that there is no geofence needed.

3. Automatic tour stop
As soon as the driver reaches the geofence of the depot at the end of his tour and his truck comes to a standstill, this time will be used for the tour stop.

The explained automations ensure a smooth working flow of the tour and they make the working life of the driver easier. In addition, correct tour data are important for the calculation of tour kilometers, tour duration and the estimated arrival time of the different stops.
