Extensions to the topic ETA

The ETA is the estimated time of arrival. TIS GmbH is able to calculate the times of the different stops within the tour due to its logistics software TISLOG. We will show you which advantages the ETA brings and how these data are displayed.
Different portals that show the ETA data
The times of arrivals can be shown in different portals for each user group. Because of this, expediters, sales managers and service managers get reliable information.
ETA data for the drivers
For the drivers it is also important to know the ETA data. As soon as they start the tour in TISLOG on their mobile devices, the calculated times of arrival are shown in red for each stop. These times can be compared to the targeted time from the order data which is shown in black. It is a great indication if the delivery is on time.
Sending of ETA data to customers
TISLOG offers the possibility to inform your customers about the time of arrival. You can send this information via mail or SMS. With this, the customers are prepared for your arrival and you can offer them a good service.
Interfaces to cooperations
There are some cooperations in part-load traffic that offer own services regarding the topic ETA. They have their own portals that can be used by transport companys. This means that the customers of the forwarding agent can have a look at the ETA data in these portals. TISLOG offers established interfaces to different portals and is able to forward the calculated times of arrivals. That includes the cooperations CargoLine and System Alliance.
Surveillance of ETA through the alert board in TISLOG office Infodesk
The ETA data can be supervised by the alert board in TISLOG office Infodesk. As soon as the calculated ETA does not match with the previous plannings or it does not stick to a given time frame an alert is shown. This allows expediters to react quickly.
