No, in Hall 7 you did not have to worry about stumbling over a robot every few meters. They tended to populate the other halls, where they appeared in packs.
For the logistics enthusiast there was much to discover in hall 7 otherwise. TIS was located, this time with a brand new stand in a new look, as usual right at the entrance of the hall. Together with our cooperation partner DIVIS, new products and services were presented.

We noticed a lot of interest in our new "Chief App", which provides dispatchers with information on the current state of the fleet at any time, and the new optical search aid for the warehouse, TISLOG intra Vis, developed in cooperation with DIVIS.
With TISLOG intra Vis, employees in the warehouse can load the photo of a searched package onto their scanner display during the loading process. Because packages are much easier and quicker to find if you know what they look like.
Many visitors came to learn more about the new TISLOG office. During our trade fair presentation, many people quickly realized that TISLOG has a rather wide potential and decided to schedule a follow-up meeting in order to discover the full functionality with more time at hand.

There was also news in hardware. Anyone who believed that real innovations in scanners were hardly possible anymore was informed otherwise at the TIS booth. Visitors took the opportunity to examine the Zebra TC8000 live with the TISPLUS transponder housing or the TC75 with TISPLUS scan handle and integrated transponder.

All in all, this year LogiMAT again proved to be a tried-and-tested forum for personal exchange with customers and a good option to address new prospects. Next time we will be there again.
