Review: 1st TIS Online Trade Show

 

 

Last week we successfully held our 1st TIS online trade show and look back on a successful event. In a specially designed showroom with presentation equipment and camera, we were available live to our customers and prospective customers.

Over a period of three days, we provided interested parties online from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. live with a program packed with news and practical information. Our tireless sales team presented our information on hardware and software back to back, explained functionality and answered questions.
Our info blocks were well attended over all three days - just like at a regular trade fair.

 

IN PLACE OF ALL THE FEEDBACK WE HAVE RECEIVED, WE WOULD LIKE TO QUOTE THIS AS A REPRESENTATION:

I would like to thank you for offering the online fair as an alternative in such a short time. I also liked the division into three days with different times of the topics, in order to offer everyone the opportunity to participate in the desired topic. The webinars themselves were very informative for me and also understandable at any time as a possible new customer, even without practical experience with your services. The technical process also worked smoothly at least for me at all times, both in terms of image and sound."

This online fair is a good example of the fact that digital work makes us somewhat independent of external restrictions, which currently all of us are more or less affected. This also showed how quickly we can implement projects at TIS because everyone pulls together.

Ensuring ongoing operations at TIS

 

 

Trade shows are always an exceptional situation.
But what about TIS in times when the corona virus not only dominates the media, but has also become a central topic in the private and professional environment?

We already took internal measures last week that give employees security for the coming weeks, reduce the risk of infection and at the same time maintain the company's economic operation in a form that is appropriate to the situation. Our customers and suppliers will not notice any difference, regardless of whether our employees are in the home office or in the TIS tower.

Here is an overview of the measures taken at TIS:

  • EXTERNAL APPOINTMENTS

    All outdoor appointments are preferably moved to digital communication channels, such as. B. video conferencing.

  • WORK FROM THE HOME OFFICE WITH THE USUAL AVAILABILITY

    In all areas where it is possible, we have created opportunities for our employees to work from home - naturally, the domestic circumstances are taken into account. As usual, employees in the home office can be reached via their extension and have access to their usual resources via VPN.

  • SINGLE OFFICES IN THE TIS TOWER

    The remaining few employees in the TIS Tower now have individual offices. All personal contacts are documented so that, in the event of an emergency, not all have to be quarantined, but only contact persons.

  • VIDEO CONFERENCES

    Internal meetings are only carried out by video conference (Zoom / Webex / Teams).
    In logistics and production, work is sometimes carried out at different times in order to reduce points of contact and the risk of infection.

  • GLOVES

    Repair department employees and employees in incoming and outgoing goods wear gloves to minimize the risk of infection.

  • DISINFECTION

    Disinfectants are available on all floors and in all restrooms for a long time already.

WE ARE STILL AVAILABLE FOR YOU

We believe that these measures put us in a good position.
In this way, we can guarantee regular operation and drive forward further developments as normal.
