TISLOG office user tip - driver's license control via Infodesk

As a fleet operator, in the eyes of the law, you are the owner of all company vehicles, including your fleet of company trucks. Thus you are subject to the so-called vehicle owner liability.
This owner liability also means that as a vehicle owner - whether private or commercial - you are required by the StVG to ensure that every person who drives your vehicle has a valid driving license (§ 21 (1) no. 2 StVG).
To make sure your drivers have valid driving licenses, you should have them presented twice a year.
With a larger fleet, this can be an organizational challenge.
With Infodesk your control becomes an easy process
Here's how to proceed:
Set up a reminder for the control date in your personal calendar.
On the day "X" you use Infodesk to send a request with deadline to all drivers by driver's mail. In the message, ask your employees to respond to the mail with a photo of their current driver's license.
Your drivers can easily take a photo of the document on the go using their mobile terminals and send it back to you by driver's mail.

You can then retrieve the submitted image data in Infodesk and, for example, continue to use it for archiving or for proof of your control.
Optionally, you can set another reminder after expiry of your deadline to evaluate the completeness of the return and, if necessary, follow up by driver's mail.
With the help of Infodesk, you have fully met your inspection obligations and all evidence at hand at all times.
