Communication without detours with TISLOG driver mail

The “Driver Mail” module is available in our TISLOG logistics software for fast and direct communication. The tool not only reduces phone calls and enables you to take and send photos directly with the message to the drivers.
Thanks to the numerous configuration options in TISLOG, the module can also be precisely adapted to your needs.
Driver mail in the APP
It starts with opening the function in the menu of our mobile TISLOG driver app. Various buttons can be created here in order to directly control different steps in the module.
EXAMPLE
In order to get to the dialog for composing a message with one push of a button, the button "Direct message" can be created.
The "Messages" button is displayed by default in order to get to the message overview.
In the message overview (= message list) you can see all received and sent messages with subject, date and time as well as reading status at a glance.
The creation of a new message can also be started very easily from this dialog using the pencil symbol in the footer.
Sending messages - faster with presets
When out on the road or in the warehouse, your staff is often under time pressure, because every minute counts due to the fixed daily working hours, especially for drivers.
In this situation easy-to-use tools with time-saving settings come in very handy.
A message in driver mail consists of several elements, some of which can be predefined. All necessary steps, including taking a photo, can be edited in the same dialog directly in the driver's mail application.
Subject
The subject can either be filled in by hand. However, there is also the option to preset a fixed subject or to make various selectable presettings, as in our example the choice between breakdown or callback request.
Recipients
This field is used to select who the message should be sent to. Mail distribution lists can be defined here, which the user then only has to select via dropdown.
Message
Text can be freely stored in this field.
Camera Button
If the message concerns, for example, damage to goods, delivery obstacles or proof of delivery, the camera button can be used to initiate the capturing of one or more photos. These photos can then be sent directly with the message via driver mail.
Receiving messages
Various options are available for handling received messages:

Numerous options make it easier for dispatchers or other staff in your head office to write and read messages.
For example, it is possible to create reusable templates, which can also be individually adapted in the text field if necessary.
Templates can be created in such a way that a fixed subject and text content is automatically available. Attachments can be sent directly with the message.
Individial mails or bulk mail
In driver mail, messages can be sent to individual vehicles or entire branches and fleets.
Communication in the recipient's native language
Thanks to the powerful language options in TISLOG, your message can be translated into the recipient's native language with a click on the
flag button and send it that way.

You can receive messages from your mobile employees in the Infodesk control center and can answer them there, forward them or translate them into your own or other languages directly in Infodesk.
