We wish you all a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year! For 2016 we have again planned a lot, about which we will inform you regularly and timely as always. And in today's newsletter there are already interesting news - from February TISLOG mobile Enterprise will be available as a fully functional app for cargo traffic. In addition, we recently offer SIM cards with better coverage and have extended Infodesk by an interesting feature.
Entrepreneurs who want to optimize their fleet in terms of safety and the environment in 2016, can also seek funding of these investment costs by the Federal Office subsidize for freight in the amount of up to 2,000 euros per truck - and this applies explicitly to telematics systems and software for visualization, analysis, management, archiving the data of the digital tachograph. New SIM cards with better coverage
Recently TIS offers new SIM cards. In comparison with the old SIM cards, there are some improvements: The new SIM cards can be used throughout Europe with comparable costs and the national roaming (use of several networks in Germany) ensures better coverage within Germany.
Existing customers can easily exchange their old SIM cards after the end of the minimum contract term.

Privacy agreement for our service contract customers
Privacy agreement for our service contract customersFrom 01.01.2016 each new service contract and every extension / alteration of existing contracts will be replaced by a new contract extension at TIS. This extension regulates the statutory measures to protect personal data in the context of remote maintenance.
According to the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), companies that have remote maintenance contracts with external IT service providers are obligated to design their contracts in accordance with the privacy policy. In § 11 on the commissioned collection, processing or use of personal data the Federal Data Protection Act (Act) has clearly defined the rules for corresponding contracts.
Although in case of infringements even fines and warnings by the data protection authorities may threaten, the sensitivity of the subject has not always been perceived in full within companies.
TIS customers are now legally on the safe side with us, because together with our legal experts, we adjusted our contracts and expands accordingly. Existing customers do not have to take any action - we take care of everything automatically with the next contract extension. Those who want to settle this issue immediately, please feel free to contact our sales department directly.
Automatic forwarding of driver mails
With the new Infodesk function of TISLOG office driver-mails can automatically be forwarded to e-mail addresses: Drivermail2Email thus ensures that the booker in charge is notified of the driver's mail in his mailbox - regardless of where he is currently processing his emails.
A special task of the Task Manager makes it possible to forward a Infodesk driver mail as a real e-mail. Both the messages from the driver as well as the news from Infodesk can be forwarded as genuine e-mails.
This enhancement is a free service for our contract customers.

TISLOG mobile Enterprise now available as a logistics app for cargo traffic
From February TISLOG mobile Enterprise is available as an app for general cargo applications as well.
With this app you can easily and comfortably process and edit your tours on all devices with Android OS, for example, the industry-scanner Zebra TC75, but also on smartphones and tablets.
Status assignment, barcode scanning, tracking, paperless job processing - including access to our telematicbox Truck Premium for all classic telematics services such as driving time control and much more.
The new app provides the basic functions you need in cargo traffic.
In long-distance transport, the new app has been successfully in use at some of our customers since last fall. If you want to test our app with demo data on your devices for free and without obligation, please contact our sales team directly.

New De-minimis policy: More funding for commercial vehicles
Entrepreneurs who want to optimize their fleet in terms of safety and the environment, can also seek funding of these investment costs by the Federal Office subsidize for freight based on the De-minimis policy. Also investments in telematics systems can be funded with up to 2,000 Euros per commercial vehicle.
Up to 2,000 euros per utility vehicle can be funded for certain measures to promote safety and the environment (up to a maximum of 33,000 euros). This includes efficiency-enhancing measures such as telematics systems and software for visualization, analysis, management, data archiving of the digital tachograph - both applications, the TIS offers.
The deadline for applications for grants is September 30, 2016.

Our new employee in the administration department: Rene Bölker
Since August 1, 2015 Rene Bölker is working at TIS, mainly in the areas of purchasing and administration, but also in marketing, where he, for example, takes care of event organization. After high-school diploma, he completed an apprenticeship as a wholesale and foreign trade merchant in a tool and machinery company. After training he then completed his college degree at the vocational college for economics and administration in Ahaus within a year.
In private Rene Bölker is a passionate footballer, not only playing himself, but also training a youth team. He is also an active acolyte and committed as a youth leader in the German Red Cross.
We are delighted to have Rene Bölker in our team.
