No more excuses
The himolla logistics GmbH not only transports products of the parent company and upholstery manufacturer himolla, but also furniture and mattresses of other brands such as Schlaraffia, Pullman or Ölsa. A special service is that upholstered furniture already delivered to merchants can be subsequently adapted to the needs of the end users. This furniture must regularly be collected from the traders and transported back to the factory. During this process in the past the forwarder repeatedly encountered problems in the collection and lack of provability of delays beyond their responsibility.
The shipper was not only looking for a complete documentation of the collection and delivery process, but also for a way to make all processes in the delivery procedure virtually paperless.
A seamless order management was implemented at himolla with the telematics solution PSV3 (since 2015 TISLOG) from TIS. The complete documentation of collection and delivery is ensured by a predefined process in PSV3, during which the driver can not skip any step. Part of the documentation are for example the collection of photos of the shipment and capturing of signatures to confirm the delivery or failed pick-up attempts. For this purposes TIS has partially adapted the programming of PSV3 specifically to the needs of himolla. The processing now optimized by PSV3 ensures a consistently high quality for pick up and delivery and a sustainable improvement in clarification of customer complaints.
