Fresh from the workshop of our TISPLUS accessory developers at TIS - the Snap-on adapter for transponder integration for the Zebra TC8000.
Active transponders enable the localization of scanner devices in warehouses and are required by video surveillance systems. However, for the operation of an active transponder, a source for the power supply is required. Normally, batteries are used for this purpose.
Our solution is as functional as elegant, the housing can be assembled easily: The adapter is clicked on the upper housing edge and then fixed with 2 screws in existing tapped holes.
The power is supplied from the device via USB. This makes the batteries for the transponder unnecessary. Functional failures, typical for battery operation, are eliminated. The case is slimmer without batteries and the entire design lighter.
