New portal for repair processing launched
In the middle of April our new repair portal for hardware service contract customers has been launched. Now the repair registration and processing is taking place digitally and very easily via our office platform TISLOG office Infodesk.
The project is currently still in the start-up and testing phase and we find the support from active users very helpful to further optimize the portal. The portal is a self-developed TIS platform to support our customers and will gradually get more features.
Get involved
If you would like to support us during the test phase, please contact our software support ( software.support@tis-gmbh.de ) to arrange the necessary setup. On the one hand, you will already be benefiting from the advantages of the new portal and, on the other hand, be giving us valuable input for further optimization.
The use of the portal is free for our customers with hardware premium service. All other customers can also use the portal - please ask our sales department for your conditions.
The German Logistics Association gets the industry moving - TIS is a member
There’s movement in the logistics industry, and not just on wheels.
The advancing digitization and companies that have not yet arrived, a negative image, little public recognition, and last but not least an increasingly pressing staff shortage have mobilized the logistics industry and convinced them that initiative is needed to turn things around.
One of the principles of TIS GmbH is to always be at the forefront as a pioneer, both in terms of progress and action.
For this reason, for many years the IT provider has been a member of BVL (Bundesvereinigung Logistik), one of the largest logistics associations in Germany, which is intensively involved with the industry. Find out more about the association today in this article.
Employee presentation: Bernd Boll-Dullhot Project Manager at TIS
Bernd Boll-Dullhot has been working at TIS since 2012. After completing his training in the IT industry as an office information mechanic, he worked and also graduated as a state-certified computer scientist at the same time. Even before the completion of this training, he discovered TIS for himself and started working for us as a support employee. For two years now he is a project manager in our company.
In the project business, his main task is to respond to the wishes and needs of our customers and to implement them as well as possible - whether on site at the customer’s or in a telephone conference. "It may mean that I am engaged in the selection of a new device or the processes in the software." He sees himself as an intermediary between customers and sales or development, communicates with manufacturers and thus tries to give our customers the best possible result.
He has also worked as information security officer (ISB) for one year and is responsible for information security at TIS. What he likes about TIS is that the company keeps growing and developing constantly - and he can do so himself here. There is always something new to discover for him and the work remains varied. "TIS is an IT company, but not just a ‘software company’, we also deal with other topics, such as the construction of accessories for retailers." He likes that. He also appreciates the good working atmosphere and the flat hierarchies. "At TIS, there is a specialist for everything, if you do not know the answer, nobody will laugh at you, instead someone will help you. Everybody treats each other on the same level. No matter which position you occupy, it will give you the feeling that you are important - no matter what you do." In his free time, he loves to cook and is interested in home automation.
