For April Fools' Day 2019, we have no jokes, but lots of news and we look forward to the next meetings with prospects and customers at one of the live events this year.
The next event will take place directly with us and is aimed, among other things, at future trainees - the Tag der Logistik (Day of Logistics) on April 11th. Registration is still possible. We are looking forward to having many visitors. More information about the event can be found in this issue.
Learn more about our new software module for tachograph archiving in TISLOG office Infodesk. And today, we're introducing you to four of the eight top selling terminals in our TISWARE hardware portfolio and our tester special for Honeywell's CT40.
The launch of the completely renewed handling of our hardware service is just around the corner. In the course of April, the time has come. As a premium hardware service customer, you will then benefit from more efficient digital processing.
In addition: The nationwide image campaign “Logistikhelden” will start in the second half of 2019. The campaign aims to improve the public perception of the industry.

Reminder: Tag der Logistik Invitation - Visit us on April 11th
Date: April 11, 2019
Time: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm or 2:00 - 4:00 pm
Venue: Premises of TIS GmbH in Bocholt
The Tag der Logistik (Day of Logistics), which was created by the Bundesvereinigung Logistik e.V. (BVL), will take place on April 11th this year. The nationwide information day appeals to interested people from all sectors, including future career starters, students and jobseekers, and offers them the chance to get to know logistics companies in the form of an open house day event.
Several hundred participating companies from all over Germany will present their companies, products and departments to visitors and answer questions.
NEW! TISLOG office Infodesk Software Module TACHO ARCHIVING
The software module TISLOG office Tacho Archiving is part of our central platform Infodesk. The tool supports you with the legally compliant archiving of the speedometer mass memory and the driver card.
Vehicle and driver data can be imported and exported. Holiday / absence documentation and instructions for violations can be generated automatically and exported as a PDF.
Mobile Terminals for the road - our recommendations
In order to be able to offer the best hardware to customers who use our software, we have partnered with well-known manufacturers, such as Honeywell, Panasonic and Zebra. Today we introduce you to four of the eight currently top selling devices from our TISWARE hardware portfolio.
Before being included in our TISWARE hardware portfolio, specialists at TIS test every piece of hardware in a comprehensive process to ensure that every device meets the demands of harsh everyday logistics.
All devices are characterized by their smartphone look paired with intuitive touch operation, but at the same time are robust enough to withstand the harsh logistics environment. Advantageous for cost control is the compatibility of accessories across several device generations on some models.

NEW in April: Digital processing of the TIS hardware service
More transparency, more efficiency: We are simplifying the processing of our hardware service.
The launch is planned for the month of April. We will inform you again as soon as the new repair processing starts.
After the launch the repair registration will be done digitally and very easily via our office platform TISLOG office Infodesk.
Nationwide image campaign "Logistikhelden" will start soon
"Logistics, with more than three million employees and a turnover of 263 billion euros [...] is the third largest economic sector in Germany. However, much of the supply chain management and logistics activities are invisible to the general public." [Figures from 2017]*
That's what “Die Wirtschaftsmacher” want to change.
With the initiative, the Bundesvereinigung Logistik e.V. (BVL) appeals to companies, associations and media and invites them, with the help of their networks, communication channels and financial commitment, to work on improving the image of the logistics sector in the future, according to the motto:
Wir sind “Die Wirtschaftsmacher” (We are "The Business Makers”).
