Readout of the consumption of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG)
The Situation
The Danish logistics service provider KP Logistik renewed its entire German vehicle fleet in 2019 and relied entirely on the eco-friendly and low-noise liquid gas drive. But with the change came the first problems with the former telematics provider who was unable to read the LNG consumption data.
The Task
However, since reading out the consumption values for the liquid gas is indispensable for the company KP Logistik looked around for a new provider. The new one should also drive further the development of digitization, eg. the digitization of consignment notes.
The Project Implementation
Within a few weeks, TIS GmbH was able to offer KP Logistik a reliable solution for the LNG trucks. By installing TISPLUS telematicboxes truck in the vehicles, the logistics service provider is now able to read out vehicle data as well as the driving and rest times of the drivers. With the TISLOG app, which was installed on newly purchased Samsung tablets, the drivers have an additional software that guides them step by step through the delivery process and makes everyday work easier.
