In case you didn't know: Today is Digital Day 2020, the perfect day for this issue of our newsletter with interesting information about our solutions for digitizing your logistics processes. Because every day at TIS is digital day and has been for more than three decades.
We present the industrial browser developed by TIS GmbH with which, for example, access to websites can be limited on mobile devices and other websites can be accessed directly from our TISLOG logistics software.
Meet a Zebra flagship today. The MC9300 is part of our TISWARE hardware portfolio for logistics and is extremely popular due to its robustness and flexibility.
TIS GmbH doesn't just develop software. Under the brand name TISPLUS, we also create clever hardware accessories for the devices in the TISWARE portfolio and beyond.
Today we report on one of these parts, the snap-on for the Zebra TC8300 for transponder integration.

TISLOG mobile industrial browser - versatility and control in one tool
Many logistics companies today offer their mobile employees coveted options, such as working with mobile devices in smartphone style for more fluid information exchange and for handling numerous functions for the digital acquisition of data directly at the source. Zebra MC93 Terminal - unmatched robust and versatile
Whether in warehouses, production or logistics, the mobile terminal from Zebra flexibly adapts to any requirement. The drop-, water-, dust- and dirt-proof handheld is the most robust model in the 9000 series and has quickly become one of the most popular models even for extremely demanding logistics applications. TISPLUS: Transponder integration with the snap-on for Zebra TC8300
A few months ago, the robust TC8300, successor to the TC8000, was released by Zebra. The device with integrated handle is particularly suitable for operation in the warehouse.
For the TC8300, the specialists at TIS have developed a clever snap-on adapter with which various transponders for locating the device inside buildings can be easily integrated into the device for the use of video surveillance systems.
The respective transponder is supplied with power directly from the device via a device interface.
An LED on the adapter shows the status of the power supply.
The TISPLUS accessory is designed in a way that leaves the camera of the TC8300 free and usable.
The attachment does not affect the guarantee of the device either.

Europe’s transport associations want the mobility package
The mills in Brussels are grinding too slowly for 16 national, European transport associations. With the mobility package, they finally want to create clarity so that there are fairer conditions for truck drivers in Europe.
It took the European institutions three years to almost complete the legislative procedure for Mobility Package I. Only the approval of the European Parliament is still missing. This final act is further delayed by the corona pandemic. It is high time for the 16 national transport associations, including the Federal Association for Road Transport, Logistics and Disposal (BGL), that truck drivers receive better social conditions, which appear to be only enforceable across Europe through legal requirements. At the same time, the mobility package should also create clear rules for the posting of professional drivers.
