TISLOG application example deployment confirmation via driver mail with attachment

German drivers have to carry some additional forms for foreign assignments - including the deployment confirmation (A1 certificate from the health insurance). The regulations have tightened up this year for Austria and France - see below in the background information.
What do you do if you are planning an international assignment for one of your drivers and you do not have the option to give him the necessary documents as the driver is already on the road?
Send him/her the necessary documents from TISLOG office Infodesk in a driver mail with attachment while he/ she is on the road! The driver can then present the documents on his/her mobile device during a check.
The easiest way is to have the documents in an image format such as JPEG. This is supported by practically any device. If the documents are in PDF format, then a PDF viewer is needed on the mobile device and a transfer from the driver mail to this viewer. Just ask us how to set it up. The PDF format is expected to be supported from December.
Background information
Within the EU, Switzerland and the EEA countries (Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway), a new regulation has been in force for a number of years on the coordination of social security systems. For this reason, employers have to provide their employees with a so-called A1 certificate from the health insurance company.
A lot has changed in 2017, especially for transports in cross-border traffic to Austria and France.
Austria: More checks have been carried out in the transport sector since the beginning of the year on the basis of the wage and social dumping control legislation, which took effect January 1, 2017. In this context, among other things, the presentation of the A1 certificate is required, provided that the Austrian person is not subject to the Austrian social security legislation.
Since January, foreign drivers have also been subject to Austrian minimum wage regulations. This is why the driver has to carry payroll documents in the vehicle.
France: As of April 1, 2017, companies may be fined if they employ personnel in France who are subject to German social insurance if this is not documented with an A1 certificate.
