TISLOG intra Vis – Software for research of missing shipments in the warehouse

Missing or misplaced shipments are a nuisance in the warehouse, because the search interrupts the loading processes and costs time. TIS has developed an intelligent assistant for logistics - TISLOG intra Vis. The software allows for an uncomplicated and quick search for missing shipments in the warehouse.

TISLOG intra Vis is an extension for TISLOG intra, the solution for mobile order management in the transshipment warehouse. The basic configuration can be individually adapted to the needs of the company's own operations by numerous additional modules. The TISLOG intra Vis module supports employees in the warehouse in locating missing groupage shipments fast and easy. It takes a photo from video information that shows the package in its current storage position.

The data is provided by the video system solution CargoVIS from DIVIS. Each hall scan activates an associated camera and links the resulting photo to the storage location and barcode of a Colli. During processing of the electronic checklist with the hall scanner, the employee can now also determine the current position of Colli directly with the mobile device.

The advantage

The employee does not have to leave his working area for the search and the processing of the loading or unloading is interrupted only briefly.

"With TISLOG intra Vis, we have integrated the video system solution CargoVIS from DIVIS into our logistics software TISLOG," explains TIS Managing Director Markus Vinke.

This integration is an example of TIS' efforts to enable increasingly seamless communication between upstream and downstream systems with the TISLOG solution, thereby promoting seamless digitalization along the entire logistics chain.
