Due to the ongoing restrictions caused by Covid-19, the transport logistic trade fair took place online this year. Around 8,500 people took advantage of the offer and participated.

Instead of a virtual trade fair, where each exhibitor has their own virtual stand, transport logistic was set up in the form of an online platform. The platform allowed for networking, scheduling of appointments and offered specialist lectures to the viewers. There were a total of 87 conference contributions and 30 company sessions, to which all participants had free access.

We also took part in the transport logistic online event with our own company session on the subject of “Will telematics be irrelevant in 10 years?”.

In the presentation, based on the supply chain today, we looked ten years into the future and explained what the transport chain could look like then and at which points telematics will still be required.
Many interested people listened to the one-hour lecture. During and after the presentation the audience was given the opportunity to ask questions to the speaker. Some of the participants were happily taking advantage of this. This lead to a lively exchange between the speaker and the audience around our specialist lecture.

TIS Managing Director Markus Vinke draws a positive conclusion after the online trade fair: “We are pleased that we had the opportunity to take part in the transport logistic online with a lecture. Even though we would have preferred a personal exchange on trade show grounds, this was a good substitute that made the event possible in the first place. We are very satisfied with the extremely positive feedback from the audience on our presentation. "

The next transport logistic is planned to take place from May 9 - 12, 2023 in Munich.
