This time we present two functions of our TISLOG solution that facilitate especially the processes in groupage and in the disposition: Multilevel status capturing for drivers as well as the sophisticated radius search for more efficient planning of tours. More in this newsletter!

The list of participants for our InnoMATIK fills rapidly: On the 4th InnoMATIK - the Innovation Forum Telematics - experience two trade event days, among others filled with lectures of renowned experts from industry and science. Topics include innovative mobile applications in logistics and possibilities and limitations of autonomous driving - you also have the chance to take a look behind the scenes of software development at TIS.

TISLOG mobile Enterprise: Efficient status capturing of groupageThe multi-stage status detection in TISLOG mobile Enterprise supports drivers in groupage with accurately capturing the delivery status - and enables precise and better evaluation options in the headquarters.
In groupage in practice the right balance between a highly detailed documentation of the status and easy handling of this documentation for the driver are essential. The multi-level status concept of TISLOG mobile Enterprise allows the driver to easily browse through well-structured, predefined selection step by step to quickly collect the exact status of a shipment. Small icons for each state ensure an intuitive handling and a lower error rate.
Each status concept is individually adapted to the needs and processes of the company and can represent more complex state models clearly and logically. The great advantage for the head office: Subsequent working with qualified and much more accurate evaluations.
Further, at each state still possible:
- Mandatory or optional photos
- Mandatory or optional signature
- Mandatory or optional comment

TISLOG office: Convenient radius search for disposition
The radius search in TISLOG office shows the dispatcher which trucks are near customers, addresses or other trucks - and whether these trucks are still operational. This function is useful in many different situations in the daily business of a dispatcher.
Short term rescheduling or new routes
If a truck breaks down or something needs to be transported from A to B on short call, dispatchers get a quick overview of trucks relevant for a tour of the question. For example, a tour from Dusseldorf to Koblenz. With the radius search, he can immediately see which trucks are located near the transport goods, how much drive time remains for the driver and which activities he is currently busy with.
Displayed on this screenshot here is the control center, the online view of a fleet of approximately 100 trucks. To the left all vehicles are displayed. In the middle you find the map. To the right information about news, jobs, driving time, alarms and more. From here the radius search can be opened:
The truck drive takes about 2.5 hours from Dusseldorf to Koblenz - and the driver needs to load within the next hour in Dusseldorf. So the dispatcher sets the filter for all trucks that are located within a radius of 50km around Dusseldorf. The following table lists all available trucks. Displayed is the distance to the loading point and the remaining driving, working and shift time. Also it is possible to calculate an exact route with one click per truck from the current position to the loading site and visualize it.
Based on this information the dispatcher makes a preselection of two trucks. These trucks have plenty of remaining driving time and are also not far away from the loading point:
After handing over this preselection the dispatcher only sees the eligible vehicles. Using the message history and current orders the dispatcher can now opt for one of the two trucks.
That is how TISLOG office facilitates making hundreds of qualified choices a day for the dispatchers.
