TIS GmbH donates to Kalangala e.V.

TIS GmbH from Bocholt again donated to Kalangala e.V., an association which stands up for orphans from Uganda. Half of the money was collected from the employees for a tombola at the christmas party. The other half was donated by the company itself.

After Kalangala e.V. has built new sanitary facilities with running water for the girls last year, there are again a few big projects planned for this year. One example is the restructuring of the bedrooms. At the moment, younger and older children are sleeping together in one bedroom. This will be changed, so that the different ages will have two different bedrooms. Besides this, there are also various smaller projects planned. Some people of the organization will fly to Uganda in April to get a local impression of the situation.

TIS GmbH supports the organization for several years. Fabian Bielefeld, managing partner of the family owned company, is happy that the donations of the company supports important projects: “We are prosperous that our employees go along with the donations. Furthermore, everyone of TIS GmbH is happy to see with the help of photos which impact the donations have.”
