More than 60,000 visitors came from 123 countries this year to find out about trends and innovations at the logistics trade show transport logistic in Munich.
Similar to the logistics industry itself, the trade fair has also experienced rapid growth in recent years. The organizers reported an increase of five percent among the exhibitors, and even almost ten percent increase in the number of visitors.
Stretched out over nine trade fair halls, there was a whole lot to discover around the topics of online trade, industry 4.0 and seamless networking of the transport chain.
For TIS, the two core days of Wednesday and Thursday were particularly lively at this year's fair.
Peter Giesekus, sales manager of TIS GmbH, summarized:
"We've never had so many good conversations and promising contacts. We talked with shippers and forwarders, logisticians of every kind. The whole industry is obviously under pressure. "
With this pressure, the logistics industry is concentrating on the ever-increasing digitization and thus fulfilling its central pioneering role. Countless projects and products currently involve new technologies. A glimpse through the exhibition halls revealed how a whole industry is increasingly switching to software and automation - from order processing to autonomous driving.
Convincing products - high demand
Our premium products from the TISLOG family fit in perfectly with these developments and this time again found a correspondingly high level of approval amongst the interested parties at our booth.
Just in time for the trade show, we had released our new free Android app for the digital truck pre-trip inspection for drivers and introduced it at transport logistic.
Many came to talk about this application and other new software features for our proven logistics software TISLOG Logistics & Mobility, such as the new standby app or our new search aid for the quick retrieval of piece goods in the warehouse.

"In sum: many good conversations, new contacts and a very pleasant atmosphere."
The bottom line of the numerous conversations we held was that TIS is being perceived as "Easy to work with", competent and very well positioned.
