Did you arrive in fall as good as we did? Our fall opened up with a really good in-house exhibition in the new "TIS -Tower", on which we had many interesting discussions with customers and suppliers - and have taken numerous suggestions for our further work. In early October, we were also present at the Post-Expo in Vienna for the first time - and were able to make new, exciting contacts with international visitors.

Thanks to our larger premises we now have more room and employed new staff, who we would like to introduce to you more detailed in this and upcoming newsletters.

Software Features in Focus: Intuitive status management with PSV3

The current version of our PSV3 driver software comes with the option of setting up a completely new, self-explanatory status concept for drivers. This makes the status detection operable intuitively: The driver now defines the stages of status acquisition step by step over several menus. Photos can also be made mandatory and be integrated in the workflow.

The training requirements for drivers are reduced to a minimum.

To give you a better insight, as an example the three screenshots below show the simple registration of a damage, without the driver having to know specific status codes. If this concept is interesting for you or you have any questions, please feel free to contact your TIS project manager.

TIS represented at the international Post-Expo in Vienna

From October 1 to 3, for the first time we were exhibiting at the International Post-Expo in Vienna. Here we introduced mobile solutions for tracking and tracing, photo documentation and Intralogistics. The interest in PSV3 was very large. Especially the photo documentation generated great interest among the visitors.

More than 200 exhibitors presented their products in Vienna. Postmark manufacturers were represented as well as manufacturers of scanners and automated mail sorting systems, which can assign 100,000 letters per hour of each delivery person. An exciting mix of visitors - and for us!

Parallel to the exhibition the international convention for postal delegates was held. High-level representatives from around the world - from the Greenland Post to Iraq, from Togo to South Africa, from Russia to Spain were there to exchange ideas, listen to lectures and to visit the fair.

Next year, the Post-Expo will be held in Stockholm. TIS will also be there to exhibit again - we are excited!

New at TIS: Pia Knüwer in the Purchasing / Administrative Department

Since July 1st Pia Knüwer is enforching our team in the fields of purchasing, administration and fair organization - and she is a Tissi with body and soul already! "At TIS I especially like the incredibly positive way of dealing with each other. Both among colleagues - as well as with customers and suppliers," she says - and can imagine already to "grow old" together with us.

Pia Knüwer had their baptism of fire in the co-organization of our opening ceremony in September. Here She also had the chance to meet some of our customers and suppliers personally.

The 27 -year-old trained automobile merchant completed her training in a reputable car dealership in Bocholt and then moved on to the sales department, where she built the marketing department. At the same time she satisfied her thirst for knowledge part-time at night school and expanded her education in marketing/ sales further. Therefore, at TIS she especially brings skills in marketing and in customer service. In her spare time she acts at the amateur theater "op Platt" - We are happy to have Pia Knüwer aboard at TIS!
