TIS GmbH, specializing in mobile telematics solutions, together with the TRANSDATA Soft- und Hardware GmbH shows a solution for the efficient documentation of load spaces, damages and oversized shipments at the logistics trade show LogiMAT (February, 10-12,2015) in Stuttgart. For this purpose TIS has enhanced the integrated photo function designed for the mobile hall scanning telematics solution PSV3 IL. In addition, an interface to the Transport Management System (TMS) Komalog® from TRANSDATA was created. Information on available parking spaces and photos of the load area can thus be accessed directly in Komalog®. The solution documents the utilization of trailers, swap bodies and motor vehicles and by this facilitates the disposition process. TIS will be exhibiting in Hall 7, Stand A03. TRANSDATA can be found in the same hall at Booth 7D56.

The photo function developed by TIS is used for quick documentation of load spaces, damages and oversized shipments. The respective solutions are fully integrated into the regular workflow and enable employees to easily document free parking spaces and all special cases in cargo handling without putting the data terminal or the scanner aside.

The pictures created of the load space can manually be complemented with concrete information on the number of available parking spaces and automatically be linked to the truck. For this PSV3 provides an enhanced opportunity for data collection during the documentation. If necessary, up to 10 data fields.

The load space documentation can be connected to Komalog® and every other TMS. The solution can generate so-called "XML files" and thus facilitates the link to adjacent IT systems. PSV3 IL also makes it possible to transfer the name of the logged in user in the XML file. This way it is automatically documented, who captured the image of the load area in order to easier resolve any necessary questions. At LogiMAT in hall 7 TIS and TRANSDATA offer a live demonstration of this solution. At the stand of TIS GmbH visitors can first create an image of a fictitious cargo area with a PSV3 terminal, which is then transferred via PSV3 server to TRANSDATA. At the stand of TRANSDATA the photo can then be viewed directly in Komalog® together with the acquired additional data.

Modules developed by TIS for quick documentation of damages, load areas and oversized shipments are already used by many partners in the cargo alliance Cargo Line and others.
