App: TISLOG office Infodesk2Go - mobile control center for dispatchers and subcontractors

Many of the tasks that have been worked on in offices in the past are moving more and more into a variety of environments and today require flexible, mobile tools.
As a fleet manager or owner, dispatcher or independent subcontractor, you may face the challenge of managing your orders on the go.

TISLOG office Infodesk2Go from TIS brings this freedom in the form of an additionally bookable app for TISLOG office Infodesk users. The app runs on any current Android smartphone.

We prepare ourselves for the future - also in our administration!

Over the past two years, our administration has undergone a radical generation change, which was provisionally completed on March 1, 2018. On this day, our long-term employee Maria Geukes retired. Many of our customers know her as a competent contact person: Maria Geukes is practically a telematics and TIS veteran who has been involved almost from the very beginning - and knows our customer contracts and billing processes like the back of her hand. Therefore, we are also very happy that she will continue to work for us on a 450-euro basis and that our team can continue to benefit from her experience.

In order to enable a smooth transition, Judith Eiting has been on board for almost a year now, and has made an excellent contribution to all processes in our administration. Maybe she has already answered questions on the phone or made an offer for accessories and spare parts for you. The industrial clerk also processes all incoming orders with us, creates order confirmations and invoices and is now well integrated in our accounting department. She completed her training with a manufacturer of windows, doors and conservatories and subsequently became a commercial assistant at an industrial glass trader.
Since April 2017 she is a TISSI. Welcome, Judith!

There are two more news to report: Stefan Hebing is now a certified trainer, he took his training back in 2017, so that we can now also train our own junior staff in the administration. Since August 2017 Philippe Kamps is our first trainee as an industrial clerk - and already indispensable!
On August 1, 2018, our first female apprentice will follow.

Since March 2018 Stefan Hebing is also team leader of the administration. The initial focus of his work is the restructuring in the administration. Peter Int-Veen supports him with advice and assistance and on the other hand can now concentrate fully on other important TIS topics: our marketing, contract drafting, data protection (keyword GDPR) and personnel projects (eg. new recruiting channels and workplace health promotion).

So we are well prepared for the future and continue to work on optimizing our services.

Service to be discontinued

The repair service for Zebra’s MC65 was guaranteed for a further 5 years, until June 30, 2020, and will subsequently be discontinued.
For customers who are still using Zebra MC65-type devices with the TIS PSV3 solution, we commit to maintaining the software for this device until June 30, 2020.
