Geofencing can help optimizing the flow of information during transport. With the position-dependent automation of certain actions, also dispatchers and drivers can be relieved. Learn more about this extremely useful feature in our TISLOG software today.

Geofencing in TISLOG for GPS-based automation of logistics processes
Satellite-controlled positioning of trucks can be used for automating various processes in logistics that are usually controlled manually. This reduces the workload of both drivers and dispatchers and ensures greater transparency during transport. With the help of geofences, areas in the geographic space are enclosed by virtual boundaries. When a geofence is reached or crossed, certain software-controlled actions can automatically be prompted. For example, alarms triggered by geofencing can help to immediately detect and quickly respond to deviations from planning.
Today, we will show you the geofencing feature in the TISLOG logistics software and explain the possible applications.
New! TISPLUS vehicle cradle for Honeywell EDA52
The vehicle cradle with charging function for the Honeywell EDA52 is characterized by easy one-hand operation. This allows quick insertion and removal of the device. The Honeywell EDA52 sits securely locked in the robust cradle, even on uneven road pavement. Mounting in the vehicle is uncomplicated with the suction cup of the Ram Mount, also available from TIS.

Trade show review: That was the German Logistics Congress 2021 in Berlin
Due to the Corona pandemic the International Supply Chain Conference has been held as a hybrid event this year. Despite the additional, free online offer, we had decided to be present on site with our own booth again, and in retrospect we can say that this was the right decision.
Although there were noticeably fewer visitors attending in Berlin than in previous years, we still think the event was a complete success. It was a good feeling to be able to talk to other participants in person again.

This year, we used our unconventional booth concept and attracted attention again.

Webinars introduced: Interesting map features in TISLOG
The TISLOG logistics software offers a wide range of options to simplify and accelerate your order processing. This also includes an extensive map feature that can be activated in our web portal TISLOG office Infodesk. The map function provides your dispatchers at the headquarters with a comprehensive overview of your fleet at any time, even if it includes a large number of vehicles.
At the same time, it provides important details about each vehicle conveniently via mouseover.
Additional information, such as driving time, traffic situation and ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) are also available via the map view.
The display of this information is easily customizable to your needs in our software. Whether zoom function, user-specific selectable map sections, configurable colors and vehicle views, numerous configuration options provide you with exactly the information you need at any time.
On overlaying comparison layers, you can compare target and actual conditions. The auto-zoom function ensures that the desired section remains in view when zooming in.
In his webinar, our speaker and founder of TIS GmbH, Josef Bielefeld, will introduce you to the structure of this function and the various display options in the TISLOG software with examples.
