The foundation centre "InnoCent Bocholt" is a part of the technology park and is located in the immediate vicinity of the university buildings in Bocholt. Only a short walk separates the new  machinery laboratory in the technology park and the College of Engineering Bocholt.

Besides an office building a new machine hall, was built in 2010, which is in use since the winter semester by the department of mechanical engineering for mechatronic projects. There will a flow channel be built, in which the flow behavior of steel can be simulated. The university shares a hall space of 625 qm of floor space with the Siemens operating unit "Mechanical Drives", Siemens' unit for mechanical engineering work. This department already operates a test facility for industrial gear units with a capacity of three megawatts there.

Among other companies from Bocholt also the TIS GmbH is shareholder of the company InnoCent and is not only available as investors but also as an adviser for the founders. The shareholders increased their deposits for the building of the machine hall. Together and in partnership with the InnoCent  the tenants are a good example of close cooperation between science and industry.
