DPS tag.
Simple tracking and locating of individuals and inventory.
The DPS tag is a small mobile self-sustaining device. Individuals can carry a DPS tag or mobile inventory can be tagged with the device. This simplifies tracking and locating both individuals and inventory.
In buildings, such as hospitals, which are equipped with a Siemens cordless telephone system (HiPath 4000), devices are located - more specifically the tagged individual or inventory can be tracked and located wirelessly.
Functionality.
There are various tracking and locating options relating to when and how the DPS tags and the associated individual or inventory are tracked or located: Tracking or locating is initiated either by pressing a button - or by a motion sensor “transmitting” location information, which provides inventory movement information. For this purpose, the DPS tag's internal timer is set with the location transmission frequency parameters.
The DPS tag is equipped with a status display (low battery) for battery or power supply operation.
